Hi, and welcome. You've somehow found your way to Linda's little corner of the web, technicolor-dreams.com. This website serves primarily as a collective for several other sites that I run, some of which are hosted here at technicolor-dreams. To view these sites, please select from the banners to the right of this text.
Have fun!

About > Me
My name is Linda, and I'm an artist who's been interested in web design since my 'tween years. I went to the Art Institute of Boston, and graduated with a B.F.A. in Animation in May 2011.
I've always been passionate about many different kinds of art, not just animation and design. I actually trained as a fine artist for four years in high school, and I love illustration. I would also love to study fashion, if I get the chance. You'll see my wide scope of artistic interests reflected in this and all of my websites.
About > The Site
Technicolor-dreams.com is the second domain that I've owned. My first was ai-megami.com, which I bought way back in 2002. I had fun owning it, but eventually I grew tired of the name. The name "technicolor-dreams" popped into my head, and I liked it, so that's where the name of this domain came from.
In addition to sounding cool, it's a subtle nod to my love and practice of animation. Technicolor is a color film process pioneerned in the 1910s, used by Walt Disney to bring color to his early animated shorts and feature films. (It was also used for live action films.) If you have a keen eye for details, you might remember that those films always displayed the text "Color by Technicolor" on the title slide, and/or somewhere in the credits.
The "dreams" part should be understandable: dreaming in color vs. dreaming in black and white (And also the fact that certain animals see in black and white or limited color) is a fascinating concept that's been explored by many people for many years.
